I'm Lara (sounds like Sara) ~ owner/founder of DustyBear.com ~ and I wanted to tell you a little about me. I'm married & a SAHM to our 3 wonderful kiddos. Digiscrap designing is the only way I'm able to remain a SAHM & it's the only "job" I've ever loved so much! (I don't consider being a Mom a job ~ it's my calling!)

I came across digiscrapping when I was pregnant in 2004. I've always been a person to want to do things for myself, so I naturally had to figure out how to make my own elements. I found that I really enjoyed it, soon began selling my designs and the rest is history! I started out using Photoshop Elements, but outgrew that & jumped in feet first into PSCS2, then PSCS3, which is what I use now.

As you may have guessed, my favorite design style is vintage, with quite a bit of shabby thrown in the mix; and I've always had a passion for bears of any kind. So, I put the 2 together & came up with my site name ~ dusty is a nod towards all things vintage and bear.... well, I think you get that part ;) I'm extremely excited to have my own shoppe & do things my own way.
